Artist Statement

“I consider my involvement in the great arts of graphic design as a journey rather than a culmination of steps. I can see through the many lenses of this craft as the tools at my disposal, to convey to the world its sensibilities, nuances and perks. I observe in great detail the labors of color, lines and shapes.

They become the shield and spear in which I must fight the fight to save the ideas that matter to the world. It is humbling and invigorating to carry such a torch with towering brilliance and warm candor, for those who I stand as a mantle of their trade. My works try to define the expression of color, form and vision. I divide the importance through visual context  and its impact, but also maintain a balance of imaginative perception as not to lose contact with its reality. They embody close observance to its subject-matter and also its moment in time.

It engulfs the viewer, creating a flow in narrative and thinking. They create the conduit to an elevated state of perception that continues to engage long after departure. In my graphite works I strive to unite values of realism into forms that visually navigate and cut the two–dimension deep into the mind of the observer.

I never shy from a wide range of colors that are used to maintain the expression, simplicity and message in my design works. They convey a synopsis of time, place and temper and never escape its contextual meaning. All my works speak in the language of design, pure, free and timeless.”
